# Markdown Extension Examples

This page demonstrates some of the built-in markdown extensions provided by VitePress.

## Syntax Highlighting

VitePress provides Syntax Highlighting powered by [Shikiji](https://github.com/antfu/shikiji), with additional features like line-highlighting:
